How to Disable Windows Defender Temporarily or Permanently

AdTechID --- Windows Defender is Windows 10's built-in antivirus program. Windows Defender will automatically activate on your computer.

Windows Defender sometimes prevents certain games and apps from opening because they think they're dangerous, so you'll need to temporarily disable them.

If you don't disable Windows Defender will continue to prevent you from opening applications or games that you consider dangerous.

You may also have installed third-party antivirus applications such as Smadav, AVG or others so that Windows Defender is no longer needed.

Therefore, in this AdTechID article I will show you how to disable Windows Defender, either temporarily or permanently.

1. How to Disable Windows Defender Temporarily

You can do this first way if you want to disable Windows Defender for a while.

For example, when you want to install and run games, applications or others but are blocked because of Windows Defender, then this first method is highly recommended by me.

Every time the computer restarts, then Windows Defender will reactivate by itself.

The following are the steps:

1. First, open Windows Defender first on your laptop or computer. The trick is to press the Windows key, then type "Windows Defender". Then press enter.

2. Then select the "Virus & threat protection" option.

3. In the "Virus & threat protection settings" menu, you can disable all protection options by sliding the slider to the left.
